About London Lo

Texas-born and South Side Chicago–raised, London Lo is a singer-songwriter and vocal producer whose artistry is defined by discipline, emotion, and long-form creative vision. Beginning as a dancer in early childhood, she transitioned into music as a teenager, bringing a commanding stage presence and instinctive understanding of rhythm and performance. Influenced by icons such as Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Prince, and Stevie Wonder, London Lo approaches R&B with reverence for its lineage while asserting a voice entirely her own.

Her debut EP, Public Display of Artistry (PDA), released in 2018, was a fully a cappella project that she wrote, produced, and performed herself—an early testament to her creative autonomy and vocal command. Prior to that, she had already established herself as a live performer, singing the national anthem for the Chicago Cubs, performing in a musical at the historic Chicago Theatre, and leading shows throughout Illinois during her college years.

With her sophomore EP, Unfold, London Lo expanded her approach into storytelling across music, visuals, and fan engagement, earning national attention and Chicago radio support while positioning herself as an artist cultivating her career on her own terms. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2021, she further immersed herself in songwriting, sync licensing, and live performance, providing background vocals for Snoh Aalegra and Doechii, and earning placements in major Apple Music playlists and Times Square features.

Consistency and resilience define her work, exemplified by Londays, an ongoing vocal performance series that began as weekly releases and continues monthly today, now totaling over 77 installments. Following a serious medical setback that temporarily left her unable to speak, her return to singing reinforced the dedication and vulnerability central to her artistry.

London Lo’s presence extends beyond music. She has partnered with brands including Lululemon, Zeelool, and Black Girl Vitamins, appeared in the official trailer for Ryan Murphy’s Dr. Odyssey, and was featured on Hulu’s All’s Fair. As a songwriter, she continues to craft for other artists, including penning “A Girl Like Me,” the title track for Bjrnck’s album.

Now based in Los Angeles, London Lo balances performance, songwriting, brand collaboration, and sync work while preparing her third release—building a career defined not by singular breakout moments, but by enduring voice, vision, and presence.
